Tour Details
Pindari valley is easily amongst the most beautiful and most frequently explored valleys in the Kumaon Himalayan Region. Being situated at the heart of Kumaon, a trek into this valley is a perfect blend between adventure and culture. Well within the reach of any trekker in five to six days, it rewards a visit well paid any time between summers and winters.
Pindari glacier is also the origin of River Pinder, which is one of the main tributaries of Alakananda River, which eventually joins the Bhagirathi River to form the Ganga. This trek first takes you on the lesser known west ridge of the Pindari valley with views of some of the most stunning Himalayan peaks in the region.
